The Desolation of Sailor Ventreska
I sit alone.
Watching, day by day.
As I have for many centuries.
Alone.
Can you understand that?
Devoid of human contact.
Yet watching the time go by.
Essentially, it is desolate.
My name is Alexia Venshkika.
The Sailor Senshi of dimensions.
Protector of Alternate Universes,Guardian to the Gates of Parallel worlds, and more.
Yet tragically, I am alone.
Sometimes, when the days pass by as mere moments, I pear into other worlds, and wonder what it's like to be among others like myself.
And then, I cry.
Tears of anguish pour down my cheeks as I close the doors again.
For I remember, long ago, my mother and my parents and siblings.
I remember others, and I wonder if they remember me.
Then I realize, they're dead.
Sometimes I think I'll go mad.
Then it dawns that no one would hear me anyway.
Can I be set free from this silent prison?
A place that should not exist?
But as the centuries pass, I find no respite for my eternally weary soul.
Sometimes I think there must be someone to replace me.
But I wouldn't want them to undergo the torture I have.
And be alone.
One day, perhaps, I will have a chance to love, as I see others.
And perhaps I will have a child as well.
But it seems ever hopeless.
And yet, I am alone.
Forever.
It seems.
Alone.
