THE LAST DAY OF FOREVER
----------------------------------------

Friday the 13th. A full Moon. Not a good combination. Not at all.

Usagi never liked the sound of it from the beginning. She had heard scary things about this night. And then, the full moon and this feeling loaming in the back of her mind. Usagi could barely think straight with her fright. She just knew something bad was going to happen and it wasn't the pop quiz her teacher would throw at the class that day right before school was dismissed, keeping in the students for an extra 20 minutes either. Usagi talked to her friends about her feelings, her intution, but they just laughed saying she just watch to much TV and scary movies. No one believed her, and Usagi, lightened up over the day. She stopped at the arcade and played games well into the night, afraid to go out there. She left at closing time alone.

The wind rustled the leaves and the halloween decorations danced. Usagi pulled her coat tighter and walked faster. Her footseps echoed against the hard pavement. Her fear, now present and full, had her looking over her shoulder every couple of seconds. She broke into a run. Her feet carried her across the empty street. Leaves blew into her frightened face as she ran around the corner. Her fear overtaking her, she wondered what she feared. She told herself it was nothing. Nothing at all. It was just her imagination. Just her silly imagination.

Oh! If only it was nothing. Usagi wished this so much, with all her heart, with all her love, with all her soul, her lost soul. She was remembered what happened, though it only happened a few moments before.

There at the other end of the street was her Fear. It was Him. He was waiting for her. At the end of the street. Standing there laughing at her. He threw the cigarette from his mouth to the ground and watched it burn, waiting for her to move, for Usagi just stode there like a statue, scared stiff, not knowing what to do. Then the chase. It wasn't much of a chase though. He easily caught her, with his lighting fast feet. The feet of the devil. For He must surely be satan, after all, this was satan's night. He grabbed her and threw her to the ground. His black coat flew in the wind and it reminded her of her love's cape. Where was he now? How Usagi longed to see his face, of all faces. Her beloved. Was he okay? Where was he? The only man she saw now was the one pinning her to ground, pulling out a blade of some sort, a hunting knife. A sharp hunting knife that glistened in the still night air. The wind had gone, the full moon had peeked it's head out of the shadows.

Now, Usagi came back to reality. The knife rose in the air. Usagi closed her eyes, salty tears of sorrow streaked down her face. For death was coming. She didn't do all she wanted to do. She didn't say all she wanted to say. Why? Because she thought she was imortal. But now, death only minutes away. Minutes turn to seconds and the seconds turn to death, her death.

"Why?" Usagi asked.

"Because I can't stand your beauty. I want to immortalize it. I want to be with you, and this is the only way I can," the raspy voice said, Satan's voice.

"Please, I want to live," Usagi begged.

"Death is only the beginning," the voice replied, now sweetly, as the knife went down in a singular, swift movement. And then, it was the end of sunny days. The end of forever.

A little morbid I know, but did you like it? Tell me what you think. I just wrote it spontaneously, so don't be too hard on me kay?
