About me… and the Site:

I was first inspired to create this site after I became obssessed with creating layouts. They were so fun to make, and I enjoyed making graphics, so I wanted to share them with others. I mean, there was no way I could ever use them all! And I couldn’t seem to stop making them. That was the beginning of Asayake En!

With the idea forming in the depths of my imaginative brain, I kept the idea close to heart. There were many free hosting sites that I could have signed up for, after all, they were the only servers I used at the time. (Poor college student times.) A freak occurrance brought me across the wonderful site known as K-Taro.  I decided to check out the site, and so began my first journey to K-taro.org And what to my wandering eye should appear…but a notice stating “Hosting” that I just had to check out. After reading the rules, I decided to take a chance. I was going to ask for Hexxy, the owner, to host me. (A big leap for quiet, lurker kind!) When I recieved the e-mail stating she had accepted me, well…it’s hard to explain my reaction! And so, the birth of Asayake had now commenced.

Only one more problem remained…the name. For some reason, my mind went blank when it came to naming this site. I usually have a cache of names when it comes to new, unique, or creative ones. It took me forever…but finally! I decided upon “Asayake En” or “Sunrise Garden”.

Eventually, the time came to purchase my own domain and I decided to transfer my website over to Clover Petals. AE is here to stay, but I can never thank Hexxy enough back then for her luv! ^_^
