Queen of the Butterflies painted for my mother. Her arm’s wonky, and her face and hair had to be re-drawn, sadly, not as it should have looked. I may re-paint this to fix the faults, but this particular piece took two weeks! =dies= I like the wings and the outfit, and the glowyness!

I tried to upload this image once before and had a nice, beautiful post to go along with it. Unfortunately my computer froze and I lost all of it. It’s several days later and I am hoping nothing bad happens! *hope hope*
This is piece was started as a gift to my mother. It is the Queen of the Butterflies in all her glory… at least as far as my talent can illustrate it. I will be uploading the sketch for one important reason mostly. While almost finished with the painting, an evil drop of blue fell on her face. I did the best I could in cleaning up the image. Unfortunately her original look was destroyed. I feel I have mad the most successful attempt I could make at salvaging this piece and feel I have accomplished that task.
That being said, this is still an amazing piece. The scanner did NOT do the image justice, so please take that into consideration. I adore this painting, it being the first I have used watercolors in four years. It did me a world of good. It brought back my need for variety and that magical air of fantasy.
This piece is dedicated to my mother, who I believe is part fae herself.

The Time: My God… I could not tell you. Overall, it took the duration of two weeks. The physical time is truly unknown…
Edit: Uploaded a better scan, far closer to the original. Colors are an almost exact match, now, and it “glows” as it should be. Me happy! ^_^
