On Friday, Yayoi went to optical shop to repair her glasses, which has broken. She fell asleep on the train so her friends, Touko and Setsuko, played her hair. Yayoi was waken by her friends, they told her that the train has arrived at the station. Yayoi went out from the train and said good bye to her friends. She didn’t realize many people looked at her strange hair because she didn’t wear the glasses. It was raining, so Yayoi opened the umbrella. She was very surprised when she saw a man fell down in front of her. ("He fell because of my umbrella")
    "So…sorry! Are you okay? I can’t see clearly…..", Yayoi took the man to the dry place while the man was stunned looking at her strange hair. 
He’s still young and his hair covered his face.
    "You are all wet!", Yayoi shouted and made the man surprised. 
    "Sorry! I’m really sorry. Which one was hit by my umbrella? Is it pain?", Yayoi tried to clean the man. 
    "Uhm…I fell down because I slipped from the stairs, not because of your umbrella", said the man, "I am all wet because I don’t bring umbrella". 
    Yayoi blushed, "I become shame and misunderstand. If I can’t see clearly, I often been worried. I have to buy the new glasses soon". 
    "You can’t see clearly?", asked the man. 
    "I can see clearly in short distance, okay bye", Yayoi walked away. 
    "Hey, watch out your feet", said the man. 
    Yayoi stepped on a flooded area. 
    "Uh, there is a big flooded area, I really don’t know", Yayoi tried to avoid the flooded area, but she stepped on the other one, "again…."

    "May I come with you?", the man got under her umbrella.
    "Huh?"
    "Hurry up, it’s still raining"
    "Uhm, okay"
    "By the way, where’s the shop?"
    "On Salad street, it’s not too far…."
    "You are on the wrong way. Salad street is over there", the man grabbed Yayoi’s hand and guided her.

    Then Yayoi remembered the man’s words about her hair, ("My hairstyle?") she touched her head. "WHAT IS THIS?".

    Touko and Setsuko shook with laughter on the next day when Yayoi asked them about her hair and told them about the man. Yayoi was about to be angry but then they promised to treat her next week "Okay, I want to ask you. The man, who took you, is he handsome?", asked Touko. 
    "I don’t know". "Why?". " I don’t wear glasses so I can’t see clearly and furthermore half of his face was covered by his wet hair" 
    ("But I still remember his voice. I don’t know why but he is so special for me").

    One time, Yayoi heard a voice that’s similar to the man’s voice when she was changing her dress. The voice came from the outside, Yayoi tried to climb the window to see the voice owner but she slipped and fell down. Another Friday, Yayoi was on the train and she saw the man beside her has a similar figure with the man she was looking for. She raised her head to see the man’s face. He is handsome and wore the same uniform as Yayoi. 
    ("He could be the man...").
Suddenly the man lost his balance and pushed Yayoi accidentally. 
    "Sorry. I’m sorry", said the man and took Yayoi’s hand. 
    ("He is not him, his voice is different from Mr. Friday"). 
The man pulled Yayoi too strong so Yayoi stepped on his foot. 
    "Sorry", Yayoi pulled her foot but then she lost her balance and hit the man. The train arrived at the station, Yayoi went out and so did the man. But Yayoi stumbled in front of the door and the man, who wanted to help her, also fell down.

    "Uhhh"
    "I’m hapless", said the man
    "Sorry, because of me, you also fell down", said Yayoi to the man.
    "It’s okay, it started because I pushed you"
    "But I stepped on your foot"
    "That’s because I pulled you too strong. Girls are light, I’m usually with men, so I forgot that thing. Sorry"
    ("Hm...He looks kind...but...") Yayoi looked at his face ("He looks like someone...who could it be? Actor? Singer?"). 
    Yayoi didn’t know that Touko saw her and the man.

    At the class, Yayoi met Touko and suddenly she realized, "AH, the hairstyle! He looks like Touko!".

Yayoi was surprised, then Touko told to her about the man. His name is Satoru Takarazaki, second year student. He became Judo’s club’s leader this autumn. Touko told her feeling to him. 
    "I like you, would you be my boyfriend?". 
    "Look at yourself first. I like the beautiful one", said Satoru.

    Yayoi was really surprised, she hugged Touko, "Don’t be sad. There are oracles in this life. Don’t give up. It’s okay, you don’t have to treat me, you are sadder than me". 
Touko was about to explain more but then she stopped after Yayoi spoke like that. 
    "All right then. I just tell the truth, I’m okay now and the most important thing, I don’t have to treat you", said Touko smiling.

    The next Friday, Yayoi walked home without Touko and Setsuko because they are still in the club. She passed the Judo club and saw Satoru was practicing with the others. 
    ("At that time, he really seemed to be kind. I never thought he can do that thing on Touko")
    "You like watching it?"
    "Not bad" ("Poor Touko")
    "Do you want to play Judo?"
    "No" (" There should be a way to refused her. Touko has been quite polite")
    "So you are looking for a man?"
    "No, not like that……" ("This voice!") 
    Yayoi turned her head. ("Mr. Friday!"). 

    Yayoi saw a man was standing behind her, "Why are you surprised?". 
He is smiling. Yayoi wanted to walk but she stepped on a stone and sprained her ankle. Yayoi cried and made everyone in the Judo club surprised. Satoru went out and recognized Yayoi. 
    "Satoru, do you know her?", asked the man who just talked to Yayoi before. 
    "Hm…just a little". Yayoi realized their figure look the same. 
    Satoru took her student card and read her name and address,"Yayoi Matsunaga?". 
    Satoru was silent for awhile then he returned the card to Yayoi and said, "I’ll take you home. I change my cloth first. Sakuma, I trust the rest to you", then he left Yayoi with the man, Sakuma. 
    Sakuma warned her, "Be careful, he is very playboy". 
Then Sakuma left Yayoi to practice with another Judo members. Satoru came with a motorcycle. 
    "Do you know my house?", asked Yayoi. 
    "Do you believe it? I stayed beside your house since two days ago", then Satoru started the motorcycle and took Yayoi. 
Yayoi remembered that there is a couple of husband and wife came to her house yesterday. They just moved next to them, they are her father’s friends.

    They have arrived in front of Yayoi’s house. 
    Satoru wanted to help Yayoi got off from motorcycle but Yayoi refused him, "No, it’s okay…". 
    Yayoi lost her balance so Satoru hugged her waist and lifted her, "Let me help you". "No, I’m okay. I can get off by myself". 
Yayoi was panic. At the same time, her mother came out and saw them. 
    "Hey, what are you doing with my daughter?". 
Suddenly Yayoi and Satoru were wet because her mother spilled the water she just took on them.

    "I’m home. Hey there’s a motorcycle in front of the house, is there a guest?", said Yayoi’s brother. 
Their mother, who was holding an electronic iron, tried to explain to him. 
    "I’m hapless", said Satoru who was sitting in the living room. 
Yayoi came in and brought chocolate milk for him. 
    "Are your feet okay?", asked Satoru.

His house, which is next to my house, is empty right now and his key was left in his bag at the school so he can’t change his cloth. Mother wants to dry his shirt but we don’t have any shirt. Yayoi tried to make Satoru happy. She brought newspaper, CD, and offered him to watch TV while Satoru asked her to sit down. Yayoi wanted to take another CD but then Satoru shouted, "SIT DOWN!!". Yayoi was surprised and sit down in front of him. 
    "That’s good. You run like that, how if your sprain your ankle again? If that happens, there’s no use I took you home with motorcycle…", Satoru smiled. 
They kept silent for awhile. ("His voice is quite good, clear voice. His eyebrow is strong...")

    Suddenly their eyes met each other. 
    "Wow, you like husband and wife", said Yayoi’s brother who just came in. 
    Yayoi blushed at once, "Akihiro, you talk liked that to a guest. It’s not polite". 
    "Me? It’s okay", Satoru was smiling. 
Akihiro introduced himself to Satoru and intended to send their story to a station radio. At that time, Yayoi received a call from Touko. Touko was panic, she just knew that Satoru is Yayoi’s neighbor. She asked Yayoi to forget about what she have said because there is a complex reason. Then Touko shut the phone and made Yayoi confused.

    On Monday, Yayoi met Sakuma. She wanted to ask whether Sakuma is Mr. Friday or not. But when she about to ask him, Sakuma saw his friend with a piece of paper on his back. ‘I’m crazy’ was written on the paper. It reminded Yayoi about her strange hairstyle. 
    Sakuma laughed on his friend, "You are fool. Very fool" 
    That made Yayoi embarrassed to ask him. 
    "So you are Satoru’s neighbor?" , asked Sakuma to Yayoi after his friend went away. 
    "Yes",said Yayoi. 
    "Be careful with him", after saying that, Sakuma went away. ("He talked like that again. Is Satoru really a playboy?"). 
Suddenly she ran into Satoru. Satoru was on his way to the class. He took a tape to be used on English lesson. After talked for awhile, Satoru backed to his class. Yayoi intended to back to her class but she found a cassette with English writing near their meeting place. 
    She thought Satoru has dropped the cassette, "Satoru…" ("He’s gone. Where is his class? I don’t know where his class is. Maybe Touko knows but I can’t ask about Satoru to her. Maybe the teacher will get angry on him if the cassette is gone. Stupid! Just search all the class")

    "Hey Satoru! A girl is looking for you from class to class", said his friend to Satoru
    "Huh?"
    "Is there Satoru Takarazaki in this class?", Yayoi appeared at the door.
    "Yayoi?"    
    "Thank god! I met you, here…", Yayoi gave the cassette to Satoru
    "What’s this?"
    "What? This is the cassette for you English lesson, isn’t it?"
    "Huh? The cassette is in the tape. This is Beatles’ cassette, maybe someone dropped it"
    "So this is not your cassette?"
    "Yes"

Satoru tried to play the cassette but it made a strange sound.

    After sometime, at the other place, Touko was teased by two guys who ran away at once when Satoru arrived.
    "I’m sorry, I should have come earlier but I taught my neighbour first. He is your friend’s brother"
    "Satoru, you didn’t tell Yayoi about me, do you?"
    "No, I don’t…."
    "So don’t tell it to anyone. By the way, because of those guys, I remembered the first time I met you. At that time, I was still in Junior High School and was teased by some rascals. Then Satoru came to help, I feel in love at first sight and study hard to be accepted at Satoru’s school"
    "Touko, change the topic, will ya? And moreover, change your hairstyle"

Not long after that, Yayoi has been busy in the kitchen. Satoru then helped her.
    "By the way, my brother said he found the cassette that I gave to you at your home. Why do you still keep it? It can’t be used anymore, can it?"
    "I…..I wanted to get rid of it. But when I remember the effort that you made to give this cassette, I can’t do it", said Satoru with red face.
The boiled water broke the silence and then they continue cooking. Akihiko joined them not long after that.

    The other day at the school, Yayoi found out that Touko knows Sakuma. Touko was surprised to know that Yayoi also know Sakuma. Yayoi told her that he is probably Mr. Friday that she was looking for.
    "What???" , Touko was very surprised.
    "What happened?", Sakuma was confused.
    Touko then told him about Mr. Friday.
    "Mr. Friday is not me. The first time I met you was at the training place"
    "Oh, is that so?"
    "You like that man, don’t you?" asked Sakuma and suddenly Yayoi realized it.
Then she went to the station where she met Mr. Friday.
    ("Why do I think about him so much? Maybe this is the first love. He fell at there and because it was Friday, I called him Mr. Friday………Huh? Today is Friday too, and I met Sakuma and Satoru also on Friday. Many things happen on Friday, maybe I’ll meet him on ……")

    While thinking, Yayoi saw the beautiful women she met few days ago walking towards Satoru. Then she fell into Satoru’s arms. Yayoi was very surprised.

    Next morning, Yayoi met Sakuma. He told Yayoi that Satoru is Touko’s boyfriend. Yayoi is really surprised. He also told her that he likes Touko, because of jealous he said Satoru was a playboy. Yayoi then went to the class and asked Touko.
    "Look at the mirror first, I like the beautiful one. If you clean your face, you will be prettier", that was the complete sentences Satoru said at the day Touko told her feeling.
    "So he accepted you and went along till now?", asked Yayoi
    "Y…yes, that’s right", Touko was nervous.
Yayoi looked sad ("My heart is broken……And today is Friday too")
    After the school, Satoru’s friend asked Yayoi to give Math homework to Satoru since he was absent today. Yayoi went to his house and heard the same voice as Mr Friday’s voice. It was Satoru’s voice who was having fever.

    "Hi, why do you come?"
    "Satoru…" ("This voice…."), Yayoi put Satoru’s hair down.
    Satoru was smiling and said, "So this is the glasses that you bought at that day?"
    "So it was you". ("Satoru is Mr Friday")
Yayoi talked to Satoru and his mother but then she remembered Touko and went home.
    ("I meet Mr. Friday on Friday……and I get broken heart for the second time")

    On Valentine’s day, Yayoi met Satoru and his friend. His friend was really happy to receive a chocolate from a girl. 
    "You also get many chocolates from girls, don’t you? Just try to wlak along with one of them", then his friend leave them together.
    "Uhm, see ya. I……", Yayoi intended to leave too.
    "Yayoi, I want to get chocolate from you too".
There was silence between them.
    "I’m not kidding I really want to get chocolate from you"
    "I……I have given it to another person", said Yayoi and left Satoru.
    ("At a rainy day, he took me to the optical shop. He also keeps the cassette I gave. I really like him, but why he can say like that while he has already had Touko with him? I don’t want. I don’t need that kind of Satoru")

    Another day at school, Touko just found out that Yayoi likes Satoru and she became panicked. She realized that Yayoi refused Satoru because of her. Meanwhile Yayoi met the beautiful woman at the station accidentally.
    "So you are Yayoi? Satoru told me about you. Let’s go to my mansion, you can dry your clothes there"
At another place, Sakuma saw Touko was waiting for him.
    "Touko, what is it?"
    "W….what should I do? My friend likes Satoru and Satoru also likes her"

    Sakuma gave her the phone, "Call her now".

    "Touko, why do you come to me to tell this?"
Touko was blushing at once.

    When Y ayoi arrived at home, her mother told that Touko has phoned her for many times. So Yayoi called her back meanwhile Satoru and his father arrived at their house. They seemed to search some left items. Touko told her everything and Yayoi intended to apologize to Satoru.
    "It’s too late, Yayoi. There’s nobody at the house now. Satoru probably stays at a hotel now. They will go to America tomorrow", said Touko
    "AMERICA???" , Yayoi was panicked and her mother told that Satoru was entering the car outside the house now. Yayoi closed the phone at once and went out but it’s too late. The car has gone and left Yayoi.

Suddenly Akihiko told her that she got a phone from a jokey at a station radio. It seemed that Akihiko sent the water event’s story to the radio. At the same time, Satoru’s father turned on the radio.
    "Hello, is that you, Yayoi?", asked the jokey.
    "That’s right", Yayoi was nervous
    "According to Akihiko, you become close with Satoru after the water event. Is that true?"
