by Silver Wind
Ah... she is trembling
Is she truly the one?
The one that is supposed...
To awaken me?
Darkness!
I start to scream...
I am afraid! I... I...
No!
She is aware of nothing
Except the fact...
That this is not her world
This is not her place
Eh... a light?
That man, he... he is holding a torch
Where did it came from?
He gives me the torch and mutters something
She threw herself on me
She cried all over me
She fell down on her knees
And she wept even more
I was supposed to kill her!
Everyone wants to have her...
For their own ambitions
To have... me, as well
I blush furiously
I have surprised him for sure!
Who is he anyway?
Whoever he is... I trust him
Yet she looks at me with trust
She depends on me to save her
I could not bring myself to leave her
Lest kill her!
She starts to say something,
"Atashi... Noriko... Anata wa?"
I barely believe my ears
Did she just tell me her name?
Wait... how should I call him?
I start to talk to him
"Atashi... Noriko, Tachiki Noriko.
No-ri-ko! Anata wa?"
He just looks at me
Eyebrows raised
Blank look on his face
Does he understand what I said?
What has she done to me?
I hear myself saying,
"Ore no na wa Izark...
Izark Kia Tarj... Noriko."
He starts to say something
His deep voice... mumbles some words
I do not understand!
Then he sighs
"Ore no na wa Izark...
Izark Kia Tarj... Noriko."
Izaku?
"Izark," he gently corrects me
She smiles and repeats my name
Slowly, once... twice...
That innocent look on her eyes
Her soft voice echoes in the silence
Izaku?
I smile at him
I repeat his name a few times
Loving the sound of it
Is she truly the one?
If she is... Mezame
Sooner or later...
I would have to kill her
I have cried all over him
Although he looks and sounds cold
But his presence alone
Brings me peace and warmth
Author's note:
I wrote this poem after I heard the sound clips from the drama CD vol. 1! Their conversations is soooo cute!
I love it when Noriko tries to say 'Izark', instead she says 'Izaku'. Then Izark gently corrects her, yet she
keeps saying 'Izaku'!
